Installation

Chain ID: mantra-hongbai-1 | Current Node Version: v3.0.0​

Install dependencies​

sudo apt -q update

Install GO​

Install with Cosmovisor​

ADVANCED ROUTE

Cosmosvisor is a process manager for Cosmos SDK application binaries that monitors the governance module for incoming chain upgrade proposals. If a proposal is approved, cosmosvisor can automatically download the new binary, stop the current one, switch to the new binary, and restart the node with the new binary.

Download and build binaries​

Clone Mantra repo and build mantrachaind v3.0.0​

cd $HOME
git clone https://github.com/MANTRA-Finance/public.git
cd public
git checkout v3.0.0

Build binaries​

make install

Prepare binaries for Cosmovisor​

cd $HOME
mkdir -p ~/.mantrachaind/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.0.0/bin
mv $HOME/go/bin/mantrachaind ~/.mantrachaind/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.0.0/bin/
sudo ln -s ~/.mantrachaind/cosmovisor/genesis ~/.mantrachaind/cosmovisor/current -f
sudo ln -s ~/.mantrachaind/cosmovisor/current/bin/mantrachaind /usr/local/bin/mantrachaind -f

Download and install Cosmovisor​

go install cosmossdk.io/tools/cosmovisor/cmd/cosmovisor@v1.5.0

Run node​

Create service​

sudo tee /etc/systemd/system/mantrachaind.service > /dev/null << EOF

Install without Cosmovisor​

Download and build binaries​

Set config​

mantrachaind config keyring-backend os
mantrachaind config node tcp://localhost:26657

Initialize the node​

mantrachaind init NAME_OF_YOUR_VALIDATOR --chain-id mantra-hongbai-1

Download genesis and addrbook​

Add peers​
